Former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has called on his social media followers to stop the #bringbackAtiku campaign on the social media which he says is very sensitive. According to him, “I've seen a few followers tweeting #bringbackAtiku - this is very insensitive and wrong. Please stop this hashtag immediately.” “I do not approve of this hashtag. Kindly stop using it. It's insensitive. “@MojeedOlabode: @atiku #bringatiku2015” He explained that Nigeria has grown to a point where diligent leaders can come out help get the country’s priorities right and not leaders that people will be begging. “Nigeria is past the point where we need to beg unwilling leaders to run for office.
